Why is only Purity certified organic?

As you may know the ingredients used in Vita-sol are certified organic where ever possible. However, there are three ingredients we use that are not certified organic due to the following:
- Aquamin (or Sea Mineral Complex) is harvested from the North Atlantic seabed in clear, pollution free, mineral rich waters. ACO cannot certify wild-harvested products organic.
- NZ Grape Seed contains 100% natural ingredients sourced from New Zealand’s flourishing vineyards and orchards using minimal spray and pesticides. The water extraction process does not use any harsh chemicals and final analysis is conducted to ensure pesticide free. There is not sufficient volume of organic grapes for producing grape seeds extract at a commercial scale.
- Sahca Inchi is sourced from a sustainable and biodynamic farm in Laos. We chose to source this Sacha Inchi to support the community of Laos and to provide assistance with the application for certifying organic. Currently organic principles are followed and in a few years’ time the farm will be able to apply for organic certification as compliance with the organic standards will have been met over these years.
So rest assured your Vita-sol products are as pure and nutritious as possible!
